Meaning – to decapitate, to weaken.
Sentence- The retirement

Meaning- bondage.
Sentence- Negative thinking is like a thraldom, as it restricts one from
achieving one’s true potential.

Cyrenaicism:
Meaning – Greek school of philosophy.
Sentence- The author of the manuscripts
unearthed from the excavation site is unknown but I guess they belong to cyrenaicist period of Greek history.

Tenor:
Meaning- general meaning.
Sentence-
Indian media should understand the tenor
made in public and then raise hue and cry about it.

implicit, which is understood without being said.

Meaning-
to analyze or examine carefully.
Sentence- CBI construed the evidences and then framed charges against the
minister’s son.
